PRP İngilizce ”Platelet rich Plasma” ifadesinin baş harflerinden türetilmiş olup trombositten zengin plazma anlamına gelmektedir. PRP vücutta nasıl etki eder ?

Trombosit temelde kanın pıhtılaşmayı sağlayan elamanı olup icerisinde büyüme faktörü ( Growth Factor ) ve bazı doğal koruyucu maddeler icerir. PRP yöntemi ile trombositten zengin plazma elde edilir ve eklenen ilaçla trombositler aktive edilir. Böylece trombositlerin icerdikleri büyüme faktörlerinin açığa cıkması sağlanır.
